Art on Main is a non-profit, community-supported, artist-cooperative gallery committed to supporting the creative endeavors of individuals in our community through the exhibition and sale of art and craft, community events and outreach, and through professional development for artists.

In the Gallery, you will discover the work of almost 100 artists in a wide variety of media including painting, crafts, photography, pottery, wood, jewelry, music, and textiles and meet the cooperative artist members and community volunteers who staff our sales desk every day. Find us in the Deerleap Building, 25 Main Street in beautiful downtown Bristol, just a short drive from Basin Harbor and Middlebury College.

Bristol, a cozy little town nestled at the foothills of the Green Mountains, and the surrounding towns possess an incredible wealth of creative, artistic residents. This talent is evident when one strolls among the items on display at Art on Main.

A range of community events are scheduled throughout the year, including the Featured Artist Series of exhibits & receptions, the Bristol Clay Studio Student Show in February (NEW!! for 2009), the Emerging Artists (high school student) Exhibit in March, the Community Show in April, artist demonstrations in the spring and during Open Studio Weekend, our annual silent auction fundraiser during Bristol Harvest Fest, and other special events, music & workshops. See below for our current highlighted event(s), drop us a line at info@artonmain.net or call 802-453-4032 to find out what's coming up next!
